Poligrip and Super Poligrip Recall
Today GlaxoSmithKline, the makers of Poligrip and Super Poligrip denture cream adhesives, announced that they are withdrawing these products from the market effective immediately.
This action is being taken as a result of the potential for zinc toxicity/poisoning to occur in users of these products.
The signs of zinc poisoning include numbness, tingling, weakness, loss of sensation, poor balance and difficulty walking.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms you could have peripheral neuropathy as a result of zinc toxicity from denture cream use.
